NEW AIRPORT IN CAMBODIA TECHO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KTI)

Cambodia's new international airport, Techo International Airport (TIA). Techo International Airport (TIA) and KTI refer to the same airport. KTI is the IATA code for Techo International Airport, which is the new airport being built to replace Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH). The airport is scheduled to officially open on September 9, 2025. Located about 20 kilometers south of Phnom Penh in Kandal province, it will be the main airport for commercial flights, replacing the current Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH). The first phase of construction a $1.5 billion project, is nearing completion. 

Techo International Airport (TIA) in Phnom Penh covers a massive area of 2,600 hectares. It's being developed in phases, with the first phase encompassing a 4km runway and a terminal building. The airport is classified as a 4F level airport, the highest level, and is designed to handle the world's largest aircraft. 

Lagardère Travel Retail SAS and HSC Group have won a contract to manage Duty-Free, Travel Essentials at the Techo International Airport.
